All good things come to those who wait. This age old wisdom can now be also confirmed by me. After more than nine years of writing this blog (my first post was in January 2016!) I was approached to write a review for a product! So finally I am an influencer 😁!
I was approached by Umi Teas Sets to review one of their tea sets for matcha preparation. I was delighted and agreed immediately. They sent me one of their sets for testing and it arrived in a week time – super fast!
What does it look like? The box is nice, good quality material and nice prints on the outside. Inside, there is a thick layer of foam to protect the set. There is a very low chance of anything breaking during transport or storage.
As seen from the pictures, the set consists of matcha bowl, whisk, whisk holder, scoop, scoop holder, measuring spoon and the sifter. A tea mat and tea cloth also came with the package. The quality of the material is good, the bowl has a solid feel and a nice ring when knocked upon. Everything else is also solid to handle and nice to hold in your hand.
The final test was the matcha preparation. Everything was functioning as expected, a good feeling when handling thing and mixing. Plus, the set cleans really easily (probably the brown color of the bowl helps 🙂). So, all in all a really good set.
I was so happy to get such a good set for testing, it will be useful on the weekends when there is time to relax, focus on the important things and enjoy a good matcha!
